To create beautiful Artwork for you, it is important that the we fully plan the process. So that the final Artwork will be a beautiful piece that you will enjoy for many years, together we go through a three stage process.

So you've made the decision to check out ELLA+Friends to capture your beloved pets and family - Thank you, we feel truly privileged to be chosen and our goal will be to make the whole experience a fun VIP "person and pet" journey.

The Design Consultation

It begins with our Design Consultation - this is the stage of the journey where we chat over a cup of coffee or tea and we get to know more about you and your pets, their personalities and unique quirks that you would like captured and the relationship that they have with your family. We also want to understand more about what you are after for your pet portrait, where you want to display and hang your artwork, so that we can to give you some helpful suggestions and accurate pricing information. We will also decide on the best location and time to provide the images you are after - at this point we will book the photo session.

The Pet Photography Session

The photography session, whether on location at the beach, park or at your home is about capturing your pet in an environment that best captures your pet's personality, where they are comfortable in a setting that is natural for them. We will capture the moments when they are running, jumping, chasing the ball, leaping for the frisbee, or just playing in the environment around them. Then after the initial excitement, we will capture images of them snuggling and interacting with the family.

We allocate a minimum of two hours for your session, but truthfully it's about getting the right images and if it means spending some more time because the sunset is super special or we're getting fantastic photos of your pet playing - it's not like I'm being forced to do overtime at the office :-)

The session is all about you and your pet having fun while we capture all the personality traits whether playful, mischievous, or quiet and calm. The session isn't just about taking photos it's about a celebration of your pet's life, whatever stage they are at, young or old.

Our standard photographic session fee is $200. This covers the initial design consultation, the photographic session, and the viewing. This covers photography within the metropolitan region of Melbourne. Please enquire about fees if your shoot area lies outside this.

The Viewing.

After the photography session we invite you, and the whole family, back to our Croydon studio and our comfortable cinematic consultation room, to view a selection of the images taken.

So sit back, perhaps with a cup of coffee or some soft drink and popcorn, and we will go through the images we have taken for you to select the photos that you love the most. Our professional viewing program allows us to view the images as mock-ups of our varied Wall Art designs to help give you an idea of how they will appear on your home's walls.

Your order is placed during this design consultation so we encourage all decision-makers to attend this session. When placing your order a 50% deposit is generally required at this viewing. The balance can be settled when your order is collected.

We also offer interest free payment plan options over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months.

After the order is placed we prepare, edit, review and quality check your Wall Art order and then forward the files to our professional print lab suppliers for printing and framing to have them ready for you in 8 to 10 weeks.
